Luis and Chad's Excellent "SNOW" Adventure!

A special event is coming February 18th for those JR highers who LOVE snow and don't want to stay at home on their day off from school on President's day! You do not have to sign up in advance but if you did please make sure you are there! The JR high will be leaving for Willamette pass at 9:30 sharp from Eugene Faith Center and will be returning around 8:00 pm. Students will need a permission slip/ medical release form signed by a parent (available Sunday mornings as well as the morning of the event). They will also need to bring $25 for transportation and dinner, a sack lunch, and warm clothes. If your student plans to snowboard or ski they will need approximatley $40 for a lift ticket plus additional money if they plan on renting their equipment at the mountain. If your student plans on tubing they will need $12 (total) for a 2 hour tubing pass and tube rental. (It is $6 for each additional hour after the 2 hour pass is up) Time spent on the mountain depends on traffic and weather conditions up to the pass. We plan on leaving Willamete pass at 5:00 pm so that we have time to stop for pizza on the way home for dinner and in order to be back by 8:00 pm. JR High Leaders will have cell phones if your student needs to phone home in advance if we are running late.
Please make sure your student has the following for this event:
A signed medical release form from a parent
$25 to Eugene Faith Center (includes transportation and dinner)
a sack lunch
warm clothes
additional money for Ski/snowboard/tube passes and rentals
(Tubing is, by far, the most popular!)
